Delta Lures came into being in 2011 when our local suppliers went out of business. Unable to find another source that carried the type of lures that we needed, we decided to start making our own lures. Friends and other fishermen saw our new lures and wanted to know where we had gotten them. After some persuasion we came up with a business plan. We were determined to produce high quality effective baits at an affordable price. I think that if you give our baits a try, you’ll agree that we’ve been successful in achieving the original goal of exceptional quality at reasonable prices.

We are located in Laplace, Louisiana, a small town near the Bonne Carre Spillway, surrounded by the marshes and swamps that we grew up fishing. Our fathers took us fishing as soon as we could walk onto the boat and our love for the sport has only grown over the years. We entered our first competitive team fishing tournament in 1997. Winning tournaments is always fun but the quiet, peacefulness on the water and the camaraderie of the tournaments is what keeps us going back week after week.

Our baits have been featured on television on Coastal Fishing Concepts with Captain Charlie Thomason and featured on Paradise Louisiana, also in Louisiana Sportsman and Marsh and Bayou magazines.
